CENTRAL FLORIDA LAND & DEMO
Hillsborough County · Central Florida
Tampa work is mostly urban: tight infill parcels, redevelopment sites and commercial jobs where the constraint is access rather than acreage. A Westshore or downtown lot might be a fraction of an acre with alley-only access, utilities threading through it and limits on when machinery can run. Lots that back onto the Hillsborough River, or sit on one of the canals running toward the bay, are a smaller but steady part of the work.
Further out, growth in the northern and eastern parts of the county runs to larger residential and industrial sites where the work is more conventional clearing and grading. Either way, Tampa is a multi-jurisdiction city - inside the limits it is City of Tampa rules, in unincorporated Hillsborough it is the county's - and we establish which applies before scheduling. We take on land clearing, brush clearing, forestry mulching, brush hogging, grading and commercial site prep. Where a building has to come down first, the demolition is carried out by our demolition subcontractors, and the permits for it are procured when needed.

Ground running down to the river. Material lifted or carted out rather than pushed, the cut kept back from the bank and the waterfront trees left in place.
Ground cleared and graded for a warehouse facility. Heavy clearing and mass grading, with the pad built level and the site graded for access.
An aging home on a small lot in a historic neighbourhood. The structure comes down through our demolition subcontractors and we then clear the lot within the city preservation guidelines, reached through a tight residential street.
With smaller equipment, careful staging and a plan for where material goes before we start. On an alley or a narrow street the route in and out usually dictates the job more than the acreage does, and we work out the logistics up front.
It depends on the location. Inside the Tampa city limits - including South Tampa, Westshore and downtown - it is the city; unincorporated areas like Carrollwood and New Tampa fall to Hillsborough County. We confirm the jurisdiction and the rules that come with it before work starts.
Each job is quoted on its own; the city is too varied for a fixed figure. In the city the number is moved as much by access, utility coordination, disposal and working hours as by acreage or vegetation; on larger sites outside the core it tracks the area, the tree work and the grading. Send the site and access details and we will quote it - the estimate puts you under no obligation.
Yes. Work in the older neighbourhoods takes care around retained trees and neighbouring structures and often moves within preservation guidelines. Where a building comes down first, the demolition is carried out by our demolition subcontractors and they procure the permits for that part of the work.
Yes - a lot of the work here is a single lot or a small commercial parcel. Small jobs are welcome, and the equipment is matched to the access the site allows.
Yes - lots along the Hillsborough River and on the canals running toward the bay come up regularly. Access is usually the hard part, not the water: we lift or cart material out rather than pushing it, keep the cut well back from the bank and leave the waterfront trees in place.
