CENTRAL FLORIDA LAND & DEMO
Polk County · Central Florida
Auburndale sits on Highway 92 between Lakeland and Winter Haven, and it has grown quietly - individual homesites, small subdivisions and infill rather than large master-planned tracts. Auburndale's own lakes - Ariana, Juliana and Myrtle among them - carry most of the city's lakefront, and a good share of the local work is on those lots. The city has a tree ordinance that matters on smaller lots, and the ground rolls enough that a flat building pad is not a given.
Most work is selective: clearing a homesite and driveway while keeping the canopy, opening a view to the water on a lake lot, or taking overgrowth off an in-town parcel with close neighbours on both sides. On the larger parcels out toward the county line it is more straightforward clearing and grading. We handle land clearing, brush clearing, forestry mulching, brush hogging and grading across Polk County. Where a property needs a structure taken down, the demolition is carried out by our demolition subcontractors.

Ground cleared for a dozen homes. Clearing balanced against tree retention, gently rolling ground graded and a graded open area left at the front of the phase.
Ground with real elevation change. Cut-and-fill grading created a level build area, kept significant trees and opened up a shared driveway approach.
A small lot near the older part of town. Overgrowth cleared off, trees belonging to the neighbouring properties protected and the work kept within the city tree rules.
It is taken seriously: permits are needed to remove larger trees, replacements are expected, and small lots have a limit on how much can be cleared. We survey the trees first and design the clearing to open the space you need while staying within the rules.
Every lot here is quoted on its own merits. What changes the number: the size of the area to be cleared, how much tree work is involved and whether stumps are ground or left, how much of the lot has to stay in trees under the ordinance, how tight the access is, how much grading the pad needs, and whether material is mulched in place or hauled off. Tell us the lot and what is to stay, and we will quote it - the estimate puts you under no obligation.
Yes - many projects in Auburndale are small in-town or homesite lots, not big developments. Small jobs are welcome, and compact equipment lets us work a tight lot without disturbing the neighbours.
It usually means some cut-and-fill to produce a level pad, and a drainage plan so water leaves the lot properly. It is not a problem, just part of the quote - flatter ground clears faster, rolling ground takes a little more grading.
Usually not - land clearing, brush hogging and our other services typically need no permit. The exception is demolition, and that part of a job is handed to demolition subcontractors, who procure whatever permits it needs. Tree removal, on the larger trees, is a separate matter handled through the city ordinance, and we take care of the plan that goes with it.
Yes - Lake Ariana, Lake Juliana and the other city lakes carry most of the lakefront here. Work on them is selective: the overgrowth comes off, a view to the water is opened and the mature oaks that shade the lot are kept, which is usually what the owner wanted in the first place.
